Don’t expect good news for 2023, but it will start with a BANG! As health bureaucrats, who have been scratching for solutions to their misspending of taxpayer money start to charge nurses and healthcare workers for carparking.
If a nurse has to pay the hospital a carparking fee of say $10 a day for 10 days a fortnight, then the sly bureaucrats have just taken back a huge chunk of your EB11 pay rise.
Next question: If the Palaszczuk Government owns the power stations and the coal in some cases, as well as joint ventures for other energy, then how come our energy prices are going up when the Palaszczuk government could easily cap prices and still make a profit?
These are taxpayer owned generators, our guess is the Government is broke and is ripping us off to balance the budget.
Carparking fees and sly electricity rises are just two examples of how the bureaucrats are ripping nurses and Queenslanders off.
If Queensland’s bureaucrats and politicians won’t play fair, then more nurses will leave than they can ever hope to replace. Queensland’s health system is at breaking point and the over-paid bureaucrats do not have the answers. NPAQ does:
Queenslanders deserve quality and safe healthcare. Queensland Health deserves competent, capable, nurse-led hospital management, supported by locally elected independent Boards.
Boards that are informed by health professionals and free to focus on local health needs and solutions, enabled by a budget to deliver the healthcare Queenslanders need where they live.
