NPAQ President Margaret Gilbert calls for Townsville University Hospital CEO to stand down over inaction on safety yet the THHS Board does nothing.  QNMU does nothing.

Since October 25, the THHS Board and senior management have taken no decisive action despite the recent death in care and more attacks on staff. Doing nothing and waiting for a police investigation is no excuse when staff and patient safety is at stake!

A family friend told the Townsville Bulletin that the THHS was still yet to contact the victim’s family or him.

THHS senior management and the Board are paralysed.

There is a meeting today 9 November 2022 with NPAQ President Marg Gilbert at TUH ground floor café from 11am.
