CAPEA National Conference 2022

Kevin at CAPEA conference

NPAQ was pleased to be a sponsor for this year's Childbirth and Parenting Education Conference (CAPEA 2022) held at Mooloolaba Beach on 12 – 14 October 2022.  The theme of the two--a-half-day conference was Riding the Wave of Change in Childbirth and Parenting Education.

NPAQ President Marg Gilbert and Business Development Manager, Kevin Craiggs enjoyed meeting many of the attendees which included Childbirth and Parenting Educators, Midwives, Child and Family Health Nurses, Physiotherapists and Doulas

"We enjoyed an informative conference in Childbirth and Parenting Education which provided evidence-based education and practice trends to enhance the birthing experience for parents and babies in the 21st century." said Marg Gilbert.

NPAQ salute our Childbirth and Parenting Educators for your dedicated work in caring for Australia's parents and children.  Their future is in good hands.

At the NPAQ exhibit, we had the opportunity to share the many benefits of becoming an NPAQ member including Australia-wide Professional Indemnity Insurance, CPD, workplace support and legal representation.

"I highly recommend attending the next CAPEA conference to anyone working in the birthing and parenting education space" said Kevin. "The information and experiences shared and the networking opportunities are invaluable.

NPAQ look forward to continuing our partnership with CAPEA and hope you can join us in Melbourne at the next biennial conference in 2024.
