The Christmas Grinch has arrived in the form of health bureaucrats who have no problem with the idea of terminating hard-working healthcare staff over Christmas.

NPAQ hears that more and more staff across the state are getting notices of termination as the bureaucrats struggle to find ways to balance their budgets.
Let’s name names, Sunshine Coast University Hospital is doing it and another Grinch is Metro North where staff are being terminated at Prince Charles Hospital.
For example, a staff member on income protection was sacked from Sunshine Coast University Hospital, this is shocking. Our star hospital is a star at bullying and sacking staff!
Christmas should never be a time for such cruel measures yet the Minister and the Director-General are happy for people to be sacked. And where is the QNMU when things get tough?
NPAQ will stand up for you and we are!
It is truly unbelievable that Queensland Health fat cats think that they can be so cruel to so many families. People will have to greet 2023 with no job and no way of paying the mortgage.
Is this OK? No, and we are holding the fat cats to account.
